Art Submissions

How to submit Art to confetti

We are inviting artists to submit art or photography for upcoming editions.

Submit images of artworks (paintings, graphic arts, 3-dimensional works, sculptures, etc.) or photographic images.

We accept original works from artists and photographers for sharing on confetti without claiming exclusive publication rights.** You retain full copyright. This is a place to share your art or photography. Simultaneous submissions to other publications are allowed. Notify us immediately if your submitted piece is accepted elsewhere.

Reprints of previously published art or photography are considered.
Please credit where and when first published.

We accept the following image formats: .jpg .jpeg .png

You may include up to 2 art images for consideration in a single submission.

Email your submission to westchesterwriters@somerslibrary.org with the subject “confetti art” and attach your art image(s).
In the body of your email please provide:
– Title of artwork or photograph
– Medium, dimensions, date of artwork
– Your name
– Your location

Send only one submission (2 artworks) at a time. Please allow 4–5 weeks past the submission deadline for us to review your work. We may respond sooner if we can.

Cover Art Selection
Additionally, two art submissions may be chosen each edition for our cover art.
Design considerations for cover art:

• Think ‘magazine cover’ — portrait orientation, with room for us to superimpose our confetti logo and some text.
• Confetti (We like a suggestion of confetti)
• Season (Optional)

Note: You do not have to submit specifically for our covers, but the above considerations are taken into account for cover selection. You will be notified if your artwork is selected for inclusion on our cover.
