Cover Art Submissions

How to submit cover art to confetti

We are seeking cover art or photography for upcoming editions.

Design considerations:

• Think ‘magazine cover’ — portrait orientation, with room for us to superimpose our confetti logo and some text.
• Confetti (We like a suggestion of confetti)
• Season (Optional)

We accept original works from artists and photographers for sharing on confetti without claiming exclusive publication rights.** You retain full copyright. This is a place to share your art or photography.

Simultaneous submissions to other publications are allowed. Notify us immediately if your submitted piece is accepted elsewhere.

Reprints of previously published art or photography are considered. Please credit where and when first published.

We accept the following image formats: .jpg .jpeg .png

You may include up to 2 cover images for consideration in a single submission.

Email your submission to westchesterwriters@somerslibrary.org with the subject “confetti cover” and attach your cover image(s). In the body of your email please provide:
– Title of artwork or photograph
– Your name
– Your location

Send only one submission at a time. Please allow 4–5 weeks past the submission deadline for us to review your work. We may respond sooner if we can.

Only two cover submissions can be chosen for publication in each edition—one for our front cover, and one for our back cover (introduced in Fall 2024).
