During the month of July in 2017, Kate and her boyfriend, Jude, went to Hawaii. It all started when Kate and Jude began dating in their freshman year of high school. Kate met Jude when they were at their lockers, and they were making small talk. They have liked each other for a while now, since they started at Catrei High School. They are seniors now and about to graduate on June 24th.
Jude’s family lives in Hawaii. Jude told Kate he likes her and wanted to take her out to dinner for their first date. Then she told him she liked him back. And that she would love to go out with him. That’s how it all started. Their story begins.
After months go by with them dating and getting to know each other, Jude proposed to Kate. Kate said yes. She was really shocked and surprised.
For some time, they had been arguing and having problems with trust. But they have been dating for four years and finally, Jude asked Kate if she would like to visit Hawaii and meet his parents. Kate asked her parents, and they were thrilled! Jude bought plane tickets for July 20th.
When they arrived at Hawaii, Kate was smiling and loving the Hawaiian weather and the wind in her hair. It’s not too cold or hot, it’s just right. Kate can even smell the saltiness of the ocean, she can hear the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. She is looking up and sees seagulls flying in the beautiful blue sky. As she is standing under the tree with the water splashing on her shoulders she is smiling and thinking, “I would like to live here!”
